Private Driver Service Cape Town is a personal, family-owned business: founder Andre leads our team of professional driver-guides, and Dominique handles your bookings on WhatsApp and email. We collect you at Cape Town International Airport (your flight is tracked, so a delay costs you nothing), and from there the Cape is yours: Cape Point and the Boulders Beach penguins, Chapman’s Peak, Table Mountain, the Bo-Kaap, the V&A Waterfront, and the Winelands of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Constantia. No bus schedule and no group, just your own driver-guide who knows the roads and the restaurants, and a day built around you.

Your days, planned properly
Most of our guests arrive with their own ideas, and some ask us to plan it all. Either way, we build the itinerary around you:
- We map your route stop by stop so you don’t waste the day backtracking.
- We time each day with space for meals, rest and exploring, not just driving. A full day can be anything from 6 to 12 hours.
- Cape Town days are high-energy: the city, the Peninsula, Constantia and the West Coast, with plenty to see.
- The Winelands are a slower reset, perfect before you fly home or head off on the Garden Route.

How do I book a private driver in Cape Town with Andre?
Fill in the short booking form at https://privatedrivercapetown.sites.tab.bot/book/ and send it to us on WhatsApp or by email with one tap, or simply WhatsApp +27 69 998 1525 (email privatedrivercpt@gmail.com) with your dates, how many people are travelling and what you’d like to see. We reply with your personalised itinerary and quote, then a secure Yoco card payment link once you’re happy.
How much does a private driver cost?
It depends on the trip, your group size and the date. Choose those three on our booking page and your price shows straight away; then book on WhatsApp in one tap. Hermanus, the Garden Route and groups over 8 are quoted on WhatsApp.
How do I pay, and is there a deposit?
Once you’re happy with your itinerary we send a secure Yoco card payment link. Bookings made 30 or more days before travel are secured with a 50% deposit; bookings within 30 days of travel are paid in full.
What if my plans change?
We don’t give refunds, but you can move your booking to an alternative day if you let us know at least 7 days before. After that the booking is forfeited. On the day, activities that depend on partners or the weather can be swapped within the day’s plan where possible.
Will my driver meet me at Cape Town airport?
Yes. Your flight is tracked, your driver meets you in arrivals and up to 2 hours of waiting on arrival is included, so a delayed flight is not a problem.
How long is a day tour?
Full-day tours such as Cape Point and the Peninsula, the Winelands or the city run for 8 hours, collected from and returned to your accommodation. We can plan anything from a 6-hour to a 12-hour day.
Can I design my own itinerary?
Yes. Every day is built around you. There are suggested routes for Cape Point, the Winelands and the city, and you can mix them or change plans on the day.
Do you do multi-day trips, like the Garden Route or Hermanus?
Yes. We drive multi-day trips from 3 to 15 days, including Hermanus, the Garden Route and the Winelands, with the same driver-guide and one point of contact for the whole trip.
Is Cape Town safe for tourists?
A private driver makes it much simpler: door-to-door pickups, no navigating unfamiliar roads, and a local who knows which areas and times to avoid.
