Booking terms & privacy
Plain and simple, so you know exactly how booking with us works.
Booking & payment
- Deposit or full payment
- If you book 30 days or more before your travel date, a 50% deposit secures your booking. If you book within 30 days of travel, the full amount is paid when you book.
- How you pay
- Once we’ve confirmed your itinerary, we send you a secure Yoco card payment link. You pay online by card; we never ask for your card details by WhatsApp or email.
- Changing your dates
- We don’t offer refunds, but you can move your booking to an alternative day if you tell us at least 7 days before. After that, the booking is forfeited.
- Flexible on the day
- Your itinerary is flexible. Activities that depend on our partners (like boat trips or the Table Mountain cableway) or on the weather can be swapped within the day’s plan where possible.
Your itinerary
We build each itinerary around you, then confirm it with you before you pay. A full day can run from 6 to 12 hours. Prices cover your vehicle, driver and fuel; tolls, parking, entrance fees, activities, meals and drinks are not included unless your quote says so.
Privacy (POPIA)
this website doesn’t store anything you type into the booking form and uses no tracking or cookies. Your request only reaches us when you choose to send it on WhatsApp or by email. We use your name, contact details and travel plans only to plan, quote and run your trip, keep them only as long as we need them for that (and for our accounting records), and never sell or share them except with partners you’ve booked through us, such as a boat trip. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing privatedrivercpt@gmail.com, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Experience, accommodation and itinerary requests are different: when you send one from our Experiences, Accommodation or Itinerary builder pages, this website saves it (your name, contact details, dates and choices) with a reference code, so Dominique can arrange it. We share only the booking details and your name with the venue we book for you, never your phone number or email. To see or delete what we hold about you, WhatsApp or email us and we’ll do it.
