A shore day from the ship
Ship tours move in big groups on a fixed clock. With us it is just your party, your driver-guide and a day built around your ship’s hours. Two favourites:
Cape Point & the Peninsula
Along the Atlantic through Camps Bay, over Chapman’s Peak Drive, out to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, then the African penguins at Boulders Beach and a seafood lunch on False Bay, back via the Simon’s Town side.
The Winelands
Stellenbosch and Franschhoek: two or three tastings, a long lunch among the vines, the mountain passes in between. About 45 to 60 minutes from the terminal, so it fits most port days comfortably.
Short on time? Table Mountain, the Bo-Kaap and Camps Bay make an easy, shorter outing that keeps you close to the ship.
Last day of your cruise
Your cruise ends in Cape Town and your flight leaves in the evening? Don’t spend the day in a terminal or a hotel lobby.
- Morning We collect you and your luggage at the cruise terminal once you are off the ship.
- Day Cape Point and the penguins, or the Winelands. Your bags stay locked in the vehicle.
- Afternoon We drop you at Cape Town International in good time for your flight, or at your hotel.
Starting a cruise here instead? We do the same in reverse: airport or hotel pick-up, a day out, and a drop at the terminal in time for boarding.
How we keep you on time
- Send us your ship and date: we check the published arrival and departure times and plan the day backwards from your all-aboard time.
- We keep a generous buffer for traffic and finish the day close to the harbour.
- We watch the clock all day. If a stop runs long, we skip the last one rather than rush you back.
- You can reach us on WhatsApp all day.

Frequently asked questions
Where do you meet us?
At the V&A Waterfront Cruise Terminal, as close to the exit as cars are allowed. We confirm the exact meeting point and your driver-guide’s name on WhatsApp the day before.
Will we be back before all-aboard?
We plan the whole day around your all-aboard time, keep a generous buffer for traffic, and finish close to the harbour. We watch the clock so you don’t have to, but we never cut it fine: if a stop runs long, we drop the last one.
Can we bring our luggage on the last day?
Yes. The Hyundai H1 has room for the group’s suitcases, and they stay locked in the vehicle while you sightsee. We drop you at Cape Town International or your hotel at the end of the day.
How many people fit?
Up to 8 guests in one private Hyundai H1, just your group. Bigger groups: ask us about a second vehicle.
How do we book?
