Our story

We met working at a corporate job and immediately found a connection in nature, showing each other the hidden gems of Cape Town. Then we stumbled upon a floor mosaic that read “Birds of a feather flock together” — and we have been together ever since.

Today we are raising four children under the age of 12, and we are definitely growing alongside our kids and our business alike.

We welcome connections and partnerships, because we love working with people who share our vision and passion for the service industry. Our clients motivate us to become better guides and to experience Cape Town through a new lens. We are always grateful to our guests and suppliers alike.

About us

Family-owned, with a team of driver-guides

Private Driver Service Cape Town was founded by Andre, a South African driver and guide who knows the Cape’s roads, viewpoints and restaurants. He and our team of professional driver-guides plan each day around the people in the van: older travellers who need an easier pace, families with young children, wine lovers, and first-timers who want to see it all.

We’re for travellers with their own plan: people who want a private driver or chauffeur and their own vehicle, not a seat on a big group tour. You choose the stops, the pace and the start time.

Dominique looks after bookings and admin, so messages get quick replies and the details are confirmed before you arrive.
