Shore day plan: Cape Point & the penguins
For guests staying on board. Paced for a 07:00–19:00 call, back at the terminal with a wide margin before all-aboard.
- 08:00 Meet your driver-guide at the cruise terminal.
- 08:30 Camps Bay and the Atlantic coast, then Chapman’s Peak Drive with photo stops.
- 10:00 Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope: the lighthouse walk and the cliffs.
- 12:30 Seafood lunch overlooking False Bay near Simon’s Town.
- 14:00 The African penguins at Boulders Beach.
- 15:00 Back along False Bay and over the mountain, with a stop on the way if there’s time.
- 16:30 Back at the cruise terminal, about two hours before a typical all-aboard.
Rather the Winelands? Stellenbosch and Franschhoek with tastings and lunch fit the same window: out at 08:00, back by 16:30.
Last day of the Lisbon voyage
Disembarking on 10 November? We collect you and your luggage at the terminal, show you Cape Point or the Winelands with your bags locked in the vehicle, and drop you at Cape Town International in good time for an evening flight, or at your hotel.
